Project: Card Issuing Expert
The project focuses on the implementation and launch of a debit card issuing setup within an app-first banking environment.The freelance expert will support the card workstream hands-on, from delivery and testing through go-live readiness and handover to BAU.Engagement Type: Freelance / InterimStart: Short-termDuration: 9 MonthWorkload: 5 days per weekLocation: Hybrid (Baden-Württemberg) 60% remoteProject Language: English only
Aufgaben
- Define and implement debit card user journeys (physical and virtual cards)
- Write clear, testable user stories for card-related functionality
- Prepare and execute functional and end-to-end testing
- Act as the operational card expert in workshops with external partners
- Translate partner and scheme requirements into practical processes and configurations
- Coordinate card production and personalisation
- Support the implementation of Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Define and document card operations processes, including authorisation, fraud handling, chargebacks, settlement and reconciliation
Anforderungen
- Strong hands-on experience in card issuing, ideally debit cards
- Experience working with modern card processors and card schemes
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end card lifecycle
- Practical experience with user stories, backlog work and testing
- Able to work independently in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent English communication skills
